Thermal films and high-performance interfaces

Four materials that share a common idea: orient the graphene so heat travels the direction you need it to, then hold contact while it does.

Graphene in-plane thermal film

In-plane thermal film

Highly oriented film for lateral heat spreading. Its advantage is what happens as it gets thicker: conventional graphite sheet loses conductivity sharply with thickness, while our film holds well above 1,400 W/m·K at 150 µm. Since spreading capacity is conductivity multiplied by thickness, that is where the real difference shows up. Flexible, with an uninterrupted sp² conjugated network that survives repeated bending.

  • Above 1,400 W/m·K in-plane at 150 µm
  • 25–150 µm standard range
  • −20 to +120 °C
  • Laminations, adhesives and die-cut parts to print

Graphene through-plane thermal film

Through-plane thermal film

Engineered to break the Z-axis bottleneck. Specified in place of liquid metal in liquid-cooled AI servers, without the handling, corrosion and short-circuit exposure liquid metal carries. One material family covers thin die-level interfaces and thick tolerance-absorbing gaps — a span no competing sheet product offers.

  • 70–130 W/m·K through-plane
  • 20–2,000 µm thickness range
  • −40 to +150 °C
  • Density below 0.95 g/cm³

Graphene foam structure

Vertically aligned graphene and elastic foam TIM

Two constructions for the hardest interfaces. Vertically aligned graphene orients the sheets perpendicular to the plane, giving heat a straight line out of the package rather than a tortuous path through randomly oriented filler. The elastic graphene foam is genuinely compressible and recovers with the joint — a patent-protected construction that holds conformal contact through thermal and mechanical cycling instead of pumping out.

  • 30–500 W/m·K through-plane, vertically aligned
  • Elastic and conformal under load
  • Constructions matched to your package
  • Patent-protected foam
